Ok, here’s the situation.
We decided on an epic “vacation.”
Born and bred near Seattle,
Living Tiny would be a battle.
But we had thoughts that were rare.
“You must be nuts," but do we care?
"Nobody does this, so why are you?"
The decision was swift, out of the blue.
We have our struggles, like all of you,
But Covid taught us to ensue.
Every parent makes hard choices
Only time determines rejoices.
Will this be good for the boys,
Or are we killing all their joys?
Tough call, and we don't know.
But could be epic, so should we go?
We can plan and do whatever we want,
But from our friends, too far a jaunt.
We had a choice, to still be “normal."
Take a few days… Don’t choose hormonal.
Serious? We might sell?
Right or wrong, let’s not dwell.
This sounds crazy. "Are you nuts?"
Perhaps. But we’ve got guts.
Will we look back and have regret?
If we don’t do this, we may resent.
No clear answers, that’s for sure.
But as we travel, life is pure.
We miss you all, more than you know.
Thinking of you, our hearts still grow.
